Santorini is one of those places that keeps postcard manufacturers in business - picture perfect sunsets glowing off whitewashed buildings set against a glassy Mediterranean sea. Sure, I got a few of those shots while I was there, but I prefer looking for scenes like this barbed wire crown of symbolism.
